Carter has spent a good number of years watching his big sisters play basketball and softball, and now it is finally his turn to play! We did let Carter play soccer two years ago when he was 3. He saw an informational sheet for it at church, and kept asking if he could play. We finally said yes, but quickly realized 3 was too young to really play. We decided we would wait til he was 5 to let him play organized sports. He is a few months shy of 5, but he and his best buddy Braden are playing Tball!!
And LOVING it!
Carter is so excited about the whole thing, and has a good idea of how to play from watching and practicing with his sisters. The whole family is excited to watch his first game this week. I think the grandparents may be more excited for this than anyone else! Carter is just such a sweet, sweet boy, that you can't help but want to eat him up.
