Okay, I think the title says it all. I have not posted pics in a long time. I have had some "storage" issues, which basically means I have too many photos and videos and not enough room to keep them all. Every time I tried to add images, the Blog would deny me and say I was over my limit. Anyway, I think I got it fixed! So, while I am tempted to go back and fill you in on everything that has been happening for the last month, I think I am going to have to keep it pretty current.
My little Carter the Indian, coming home from his Thanksgiving feast at school. Notice the "chicken" sticker on his shirt. It is a turkey, but he kept referring to it as a chicken. Carter is in this phase where he likes to "take on" every story he hears. So basically anything we try to say to each other or the girls try to tell us about school or whatever, he interrupts and starts in about how he has a friend and how the same thing happened to him.
The hats that the boys are wearing were made by my sister in law...aren't they lookin' cute! ?
These 2 pictures are from a wedding we went to this weekend. I had to post the picture of me and Ken to show off some of my jewelry. My wonderful friend (and jeweler) Megan, hooked me up with some bling (thought that would make you laugh) to wear for the event. What a girl! I called her like an hour before I was leaving for Terre Haute and said, "I need jewels!" You can see my earrings and necklace, but not my cute bracelet and ring that I borrowed. Thanks, Megan! We had a great time visiting with friends, and having a break from our real life!
The picture below is blurry, but had to tell this story behind it. This is Ken, his brother, and a friend. There are several other guys in the room as well, but they aren't in the picture. Anyway, this is the men's bathroom at the reception. The guys were SO excited about the restroom. It has a connecting room with bar stools, leather chairs, and most important...A FLAT SCREEN TV showing a football game. The guys thought it was so cool, that they could go in there (without their wives) and watch football. Yes, this is during the reception....sorry, Kosten!:)

This is our advent wreath. My dad and his wife had the idea that we should both do advent wreaths this year at home, and do the same prayers and devotions each Sunday night during Advent season, leading to Christmas. It is a fun idea, and one that I grew up with at our church. As a kid, each year a different family would be in charge of lighting the advent candle each Sunday. Actually, when the girls were little, our family did it. Anyway, I had quite the time trying to find the correct color candles that were not all different size/shape, and finally just settled on this ensemble today. Ken took the kids to Glenns Valley Park to pick up some greens for our advent wreath. In normal Sitzman fashion, he got a million of them and then used zip ties to hold them together like a wreath! Tonight, Abby was the leader, and next week will be Ally, and then Carter. Abby read from the bible. Ally read a prayer. Ken read from the bible. Abby lit the 1st purple candle that symbolizes Hope. Colin cried. Carter blew out the candle and mostly tried to pretend to read the whole time that the girls were reading....super annoying, Cart. Actually I tried to give him a "part", but he ended up saying, "God is great. God is good. And we thank you for our food. Amen."
Colin just looking cute, so I had to share his picture. Cart and Colin had an overnight at D's last night while we were out of town at our wedding. The girls stayed at Aunt Kate's house. It was a nice break, but I did miss my babies!
The girls went to a cheer leading clinic a couple of weeks ago at the high school. Above is a pic of Abby and 2 of her friends. Below are the same girls and then Ally and 2 of her friends from school too.
So we are playing basketball again this year...which makes me very happy! Ken is coaching with a friend of his. After the 1st practice, I was a little concerned. Actually, that is an understatement. I think I said to ken that I didn't even want to come to the game, because I didn't think I could watch. He in turns says, I don't want to watch either, but I have too! After a good "talking to" with Abby about being aggressive, going after the ball, and not worrying about what anyone else thinks, I think we got through to her. So, with all that said, I was pleasantly surprised at their first game. They played GREAT! Both girls scored and went after the ball, and played defense, and MOST of all...JUST TRIED HARD. That makes their mom happy:)
They are getting better every game. Abby scored like 6 or 8 points at the last game, I think. Abby doesn't appear to be in these pics, but my little baller, Ally is above on the left.
